In this painting I wanted to pay tribute to the thousands of migrants forced to leave Ireland and Scotland in times of famine and clearance. The vessel is almost "in irons" as she tacks off the Hook light in county Wexford. The painting may be viewed in the offices of Macdonald Henderson, Solicitors, Glasgow.
